The First TBR Tire of Jilin Linglong's TBR Phase-I Project Successfully Produced

On December 14, 2021, the ceremony for the First TBR Tire of Jilin Linglong's TBR Phase-I Project Successfully Produced was held in Changchun, China. Jilin Linglong is Linglong Tire’s fifth Chinese manufacturing base and the seventh global manufacturing base. Relevant leaders of Jilin Province, leaders of China FAW, and industry leaders and experts, as well as Linglong’s distributors, partners, and media attended the ceremony to witness the important moment of the steady progress of Linglong’s “7+5” strategic global layout.

Faced with the new technological revolution, Linglong Tire will focus on the intelligent manufacturing, which will promote the manufacturing industry to move towards the middle and high end of the global industrial chain. Linglong Tire will also transform and upgrade its global manufacturing bases into digital and intelligent plants to improve its production efficiency, product quality and reshape its core competitiveness.

Jilin Linglong has been positioned as a world-class intelligent plant by Linglong Tire when it started planning. The total investment of this project is RMB 4.894 billion yuan, and it will be able to manufacture 14 million radial tyres and 200,000 retreaded tyres annually when it is fully completed, with the annual sales revenue reaching RMB 4.44 billion yuan.

This project introduces world-class manufacturing equipment, combining industrial cloud, big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, 5G, and other advanced technologies to fully integrate tire design, production, management, logistics, marketing etc. With the continuous construction of this project, Jilin Linglong will combine intelligent, flexible, and green manufacturing technologies to continue to create high-quality products. Meanwhile, Linglong Tire will bring safer, smarter, and more environmentally-friendly premium tires to OEMs and consumers, creating a more advantageous industrial ecology.
