From January 13th to 14th, 2022, the 11th Philanthropy Festival was held in Shanghai, China. Linglong Tire won the 2021 Philanthropy Driving Force Award, and Mr. Wang Feng, Chairman & President of Linglong Tire, was awarded Philanthropy Person of 2021.
Established in 2011, the Philanthropy Festival aims to promote the spirit and actions of public welfare, and it has already become an annual event in the field of philanthropy.
Linglong has been invited by Philanthropy Festival for three consecutive years and won many awards by virtue of its practices in corporate social responsibility (CSR). Through long-term philanthropy practices, it has become Linglong’s DNA to devote to public welfare and philanthropy.
Over the years, Linglong has exerted its influence in public welfare in various aspects such as youth development, animal and plant protection, flood relief, pandemic prevention, and control. It has invested more than 13 million euros in public welfare and won the “Most Socially Responsible Enterprise”, “Responsible Brand Award”, “Enterprise with Outstanding Contribution to Anti-pandemic”, and many other honors. With the globalization of Linglong’s business, its corporate social responsibility initiatives are reaching other countries around the world. In Thailand, Linglong has jointly carried out more than 100 public events with schools and communities in the aspects of elder care, welfare, education, sports, culture, donations, etc., which have been highly appreciated and praised by Thai organizations and local people. Through its Serbian factory, Linglong actively launches public welfare events in its local community, including sponsoring Serbian Football Premier League, using its sponsorship rights on promoting local children’s sports activities, employee appreciation activities and other activities, hosting the “China-EU Elite Chess Competition” to promote the exchange of intellectual sports, and providing a variety of scholarships and internship opportunities for local students.
On August 29, 2021, Linglong Tire cooperated with Beijing Yuanmeng Public Welfare Foundation to set up a public welfare fund and carry out the Commercial Vehicle Driver Care Plan public welfare project to provide continuous help and care for commercial vehicle drivers.
In addition to its practices in the field of public welfare, Linglong Tire also actively promotes the concept of sustainable development in its corporate development. Through the expansion in new materials, new equipment, new energy, and new technologies, the company will focus on the construction of smart factories and the implementation of green supply chain, and apply the concept of green and low carbon into the whole life cycle of tire design, manufacturing, transportation and application.
